Clothing and Equipment
Don’t forget your hockey stick—someone always does!
Please ensure players wear suitable sports clothing for hockey.
We kindly ask that players do not wear any club or county kit.
Outfield players must bring:
Hockey stick
Gumshield
Shin pads
Goalkeepers please bring your full goalkeeping kit, as we are unable to provide equipment.
If the weather is warm, please also bring:
A hat
Sunscreen
Food and Drink
Please bring a packed lunch, plenty of snacks, and a refillable water bottle.
For the safety of all players, please do not bring any nut-based products due to allergies.
There will be several short breaks throughout the day, along with a longer lunch break, giving players plenty of opportunities to eat, drink, and refuel. Water bottles can be refilled at the club.
What to Expect
The daily schedule may vary slightly depending on the weather. Typically, the day will include:
Technical skills sessions
Small-sided and game-based drills
Match play to finish the day
We are looking forward to seeing everyone and wish all players the very best for the trials.

After the Summer
We expect that most of these players will be invited to continue training on Friday evenings in our DC program in the Autumn when we will then be running a further 3 or 4 training sessions for these age groups as a lead up to final selection for the AC program.
